Acron to raise UAN annual output by 8.5% to 1.4 mln tns

MOSCOW, Jul 3 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer Acron plans to raise its production of urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) by 8.5% to 1.4 million tonnes per year by investing 21 million rubles in expansion of its production facility in the city of Veliky Novgorod, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company plans to build a sixth carbamide synthesis unit at the plant and launch it until the end of the year.
